Much thanks to everyone who visited Carillon & Pinnacle Port over the holiday weekend. The weather could've been better, but at least the sun came out for the festivities on the 4th. The parade, face painting, entertainment and buffet were all a success and thanks to everyone involved. Be sure to join us next year!!!!

CLEAN BEACH POLICY

Carillon Beach Rentals is implementing a new CLEAN BEACH POLICY.

If you book a reservation with us to arrive prior to October 1, 2010 and if the beaches are scheduled to be closed to the public during your stay, you may cancel prior to arrival and we will issue a full refund less a $50 Administrative Fee and also give you a 10% voucher good for one year at the same property.

OIL SPILL UPDATE

Carillon Beach Rentals if fully aware of the concerns that many people have regarding the recent Oil Spill in the Gulf. Just like with hurricanes, the national news ONLY seems to emphasize the negative aspects, but let us assure you that our water is as crystal blue as always. We realize that some of the initial reports had the oil moving towards our beloved Panhandle, but the latest reports have the oil slick located 75miles south of Pensacola and moving westward - away from the area. To this point we still have not had one sighting of any oil, oil pellets, tar, etc anywhere near this area, and unless things take a turn for the worse then we don't envision this ever happening.

If you are considering canceling your trip we ask that you please remain patient and do not jump to conclusions. We would hate for you to miss out on all the activities this beautiful area has to offer simply because of a false news report.

Miracle Strip Amusement Park is now set to re-open

One of Panama City Beach's greatest past times, Miracle Strip Amusement Park , is now set to reopen at Pier Park over the weekend of March 5th. Four years ago Miracle Strip closed it's location off Front Beach after nearly 50 years of service, and it is now set to reopen this weekend in the green space of Pier Park located across from the Grand Theatre. Many of the original rides will be resurrected for years to come.

Southwest Announces Four Destination Cities

Southwest Airlines announced its four destination cities to and from the new Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport, along with special introductory rates. The four cities are: Houston, Texas; Nashville, Tenn; Baltimore, MD; and Orlando, FL. Service will begin May 23, 2010.
